Best Man
Jake is Zac's brother and Zac has looked up to him his entire life. After all, he is taller than Zac. Jake will tell you that Zac threw objects (possibly with nails in them) at him when they were younger. What Zac hears, is a younger brother looking for the adoration of an older brother. Jake is an awesome dad and Zac is beyond proud of him. As they both age into their respective salt & pepper beards, Zac is very lucky to have Jake's friendship and is honored to have Jake stand up with him. "I love you Jake....like a brother." -Zac
Jeff Spencer
Best Man
Jeff and Zac have been friends since junior high, and Zac doesn't think he would've survived the halls of TC East Junior High without Jeff's friendship. Technically, they "started" YouTube, but creating their art was far more important to them than the billion dollars they could have made. All their "films" are currently in the vault, so please do not ask about private screenings. Jeff has taught Zac what a friendship truly is and Zac is extremely grateful to be able to call Jeff his best friend. Jeff has blossomed into a great father and Zac is honored to have him stand up with him. "I love you man." -Zac
Ryan Asher
Best Woman
Ryan first encountered Susan Barfing over a friends balcony at a party in College. Susan was the dumb freshman and Ryan was the wise sophomore who comforted Susan with stories of her own barf. Their friendship blossomed after they moved to Chicago and started taking comedy classes and performing together. They traveled across Europe together, lived together, worked together, laughed, cried, and were family to each other when their own was far away. Their favorite thing to do is walk, coffees in hand, down any Chicago street, talking about anything and everything for blocks on end. They also enjoy serenading Zac and Cydney with their haunting moon song. Ryan and Susan are more like sisters than friends and have a rare friendship that not everyone is fortunate to find in their lifetime.
Chris Leary
Best Man
It was the winds of fate that blew Susan into acting class freshman year of college, ten minutes late, clutching a coffee, and hobbling on a recently injured foot. Chris saw her and thought, there’s the hurt girl, the one that always has some excuse or malady, we won’t be friends. Little did he know that soon they would become the kind of friends that needed to be separated for disrupting class with their antics. Their favorite tradition is taking road trips together, singing the entire Dreamgirls Soundtrack and stopping at every Home Goods they pass. Chris came into Manhattan every Sunday that Susan was on her ship to have brunch with her. Susan feels very lucky to count Chris among her closest friends because he lights up every room he’s in and is as loving as he is mischievous.
Peter Kim
Officiant
Peter is one of the funniest people that Susan & Zac know and they are very excited to have him officiate their wedding. They've shared supper together, laughs, gossip, sleepovers, and the only game of Settlers of Catan that Susan & Zac have ever played. They value Peter's friendship and cannot thank him enough for agreeing to be a part of their important day. "We love you Peter!" -Susan & Zac
