Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Susan Glynn and Zac LeMieux
Sandbridge Beach

Sandbridge Beach

Virginia Beach, VA

Come hang beachside with the wedding party. We'll be using the public beach access point between 2720 and 2723 Sandfiddler Rd, the same place where Zac proposed to Susan at sunrise on Labor Day 2018.

Virginia Beach Boardwalk

Virginia Beach Boardwalk

Virginia Beach Boardwalk, Virginia Beach, VA

Kitsch, kitsch, and more kitsch. Go to the boardwalk for all your novelty, airbrush, t-shirt needs. Check out the nightmare mansion, rent a surrey bike on beach street, drive go-karts at the Atlantic Fun Park, take a selfie with King Neptune, and get some frozen custard at Kohr Brothers.

Sandbridge Island Restaurant

Sandbridge Island Restaurant

205 Sandbridge Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456
, (757) 721-2899

We're kind of obsessed with this pizza. We like it with green pepper and onion. It's very simple but very delicious. If you want to get crazy, go here for the Sandbridge Trashcan, a blue drink that comes with an entire can of Red Bull.

The Bee and The Biscuit

The Bee and The Biscuit

1785 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456
, (757) 689-6243

Best brunch spot in the area. Try the GIANT cinnamon roll, biscuit platter, the cereal themed lattes, mimosas, and of course, the eggs. Indoor and outdoor seating available

Margie & Ray's Crabhouse

Margie & Ray's Crabhouse

1240 Sandbridge Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456
, (757) 721-2287

Crab cakes for days. Also, a great (cheap) bloody mary! Steamed blue crab legs, Virginia sized portions, and brunch.

Blue Pete's Restaurant

Blue Pete's Restaurant

1400 North Muddy Creek Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456
, (757) 426-2278

Dubbed "the local's secret" Blue Pete's is a great spot for seafood, burgers, tacos, and drinks. The restaurant sits above a small body of water that houses fish and turtles you can feed while you wait for your table. Ask Bill for some moldy bread to toss, he literally always has some. Follow them on Instagram and you may just win a giftcard ;-) Great food, cool locale.

Baja Restaurant

Baja Restaurant

3701 Sandpiper Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456
, (757) 426-7748

For anyone who took our "where should we get married" Instagram poll, this place came in second. This restaurant is on the back bay with beautiful views of the sunset. Seafood, tacos, pasta, and cold beer. They also operate a small cafe for coffees and pastries in the morning.

Rudee's Restaurant and Cabana Bar

Rudee's Restaurant and Cabana Bar

227 Mediterranean Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA 23451
, (757) 425-1777

A great restaurant for seafood closer to the boardwalk. Great atmosphere, on the inlet.

Beachside Social

Beachside Social

2728 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA 23451

Shuffleboard, snacks, beers, and games, all on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk.

Crabbing at First Landing State Park

Crabbing at First Landing State Park

2500 Shore Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23451

We've gone here on several occasions, both for the crabbing lessons and the sunsets. Also, great camping location! Part of this park is where the Virginia Company first landed in April 1607 before establishing Jamestown.

Virginia Beach Fishing Center

Virginia Beach Fishing Center

200 Winston Salem Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA 23451
, (757) 491-8000

This is one of the many fishing, charter, companies in Rudee's inlet. Book a fishing excursion or a dolphin tour.

Chrysler Museum of Art

Chrysler Museum of Art

If you're looking to take in some culture, look no further than The Chrysler Museum of Art. Housing the extensive collection of Walter P Chrysler, the museum houses works from Jackson Pollack, Georgia O'Keefe and Diego Velazquez. Don't forget to stop by the Perry Glass Studio while you're there!

Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center

Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center

717 General Booth Boulevard, Virginia Beach, VA 23451
, (757) 385-3474

Containing over 800,000 gallons of fresh and saltwater displays and over 700 species the Aquarium is a one of a kind day trip for people of all ages. It was also the site of a lonely and terrible field trip in Susan's childhood. Back when she had wild and unruly hair, crooked glasses and her nickname was Daria. But don't let that stop you from enjoyin all the aquariaum has to offer!
