What should I wear?

Answer

Please dress in cocktail attire, as this is a semi-formal event. Military guests are welcome, but not expected, to attend in uniform. We want you to be comfortable for a night of celebration and dancing. If you choose to attend in uniform, we recommend wearing the service equivalent to the U.S. Coast Guard Service Dress Blue-Alpha. The groom will not be in uniform.

May we bring our children?

Answer

This is an adult-only wedding (exception for children under 12 months). While we love your children, we are keeping our special day as a 21+ occasion. Thank you for your understanding!

Please send us your RSVP no later than November 3, 2025.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Barker House between 3:30-4:00 p.m. Our ceremony begins at 4:00 p.m. in the Williams Rooms.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to space limitations, plus ones are by invitation only. If a plus one is not indicated on your invitation, we ask that you please not bring a plus one. Thank you for understanding!

I have a food allergy. Can I make a special request?

Yes! Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we will be happy to accommodate them as best we can.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Yes! There is ample parking at the Barker House.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

The Inn at Scituate Harbor and Barker House are an 11 minute walk apart. Please check back for more information on transportation options between the Inn at Scituate Harbor and Barker House!
