Where is the wedding?

Answer

The wedding ceremony is taking place at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Dunn, NC. This church is attended by Jackson and Susan's grandparents, and holds sentimental value to the couple. The reception to follow is about 30 minutes away on highway 421, at Twisted Vines Vineyard in Clinton, NC. Once you arrive, please follow the signage and enjoy some snacks!

Do I need to find someone to watch my kids?

Answer

No! We've factored in the children of those invited to the number of guests. Feel free to bring your children to both the ceremony and reception, so long as they are behaved. If they are misbehaving, we will ask they they be brought outside during the ceremony by a parent. Parents are responsible for keeping their children wellbehaved!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you have recieved a wedding invite in the mail, you should have also gotten a bookmark stamped with our names and wedding date. If you have 2 (or more) you already have a plus one! If you need another or do not RSVP as having a plus one, please let us know!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

No. This will be a dry wedding and alcohol will not be served nor should guests bring their own. If you do, you will be asked to leave

Can I smoke/vape?

Answer

The reception and ceremony venue are both non-smoking and non-vaping. However, we recognize that some people would need a smoke break. There will be a designated area in the parking lot for such activities. If you are found vaping or smoking inside either venues, you will be asked to leave.

I have a food allergy/a dietariy restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our reception will provide appitizers and a full buffet style meal. Our caterer has assured us everything will be clearly labeled and communicated with our guests. If you do have a severe allergy, let us know and we will make sure you have something to eat!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Common Sense, no white dresses, dress in your Sunday best.

What are you Wedding Colors so I can avoid them?

Answer

We're doing the normal black and white and such, and also wine red. We purposefully set the color of this website to match that color (using the eyedropper tool!) If your outfit is too close to this website's background color, please consider something else so you don't get confused with the wedding party!

By September 1st, but we prefer you do it ASAP.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Reach out to the bride and groom (preferably by email - jacksonandsusan0309@gmail.com). Please include whether or not you plan to attended and all members of your party. If we do not receive any correspondence we will assume you and your party are not coming.
