We met in 2020, when the world felt completely turned upside down. By chance, we both started new positions at the same company at the exact same time. What began as a friendship slowly grew into something more… although apparently everyone else figured that out before we did. Even after we both left the company, we stayed close and eventually found ourselves working together again. While many of our coworkers were convinced we were secretly dating, the truth is we didn’t explore the idea of a relationship until late 2022. Once we finally did, everything seemed to fall into place. It didn’t take long for us to realize we had become each other’s best friend. Before we knew it, it was 2023 and we were moving into our first apartment together, creating a home filled with music, laughter, and the occasional spontaneous dance party in the living room. Our little family soon grew when we adopted two kittens, Disco and Techno, who quickly became our forever babies and the true rulers of our household. Music has always been a huge part of our lives, and over the last year we decided to turn that shared passion into something bigger by starting our own DJ and photo booth business together. It quickly became another adventure we now get to build side by side. In late 2024, we experienced a heartbreaking loss with the miscarriage of our first baby. Although we never had the chance to meet them, they will always hold a special place in our hearts. We continue to hold hope that one day God will bless us with the gift of parenthood. In 2025, Abel planned the most unforgettable moment of our lives. On the beautiful shores of Lanikai Beach in Oahu, as the sun was setting over the water, he got down on one knee and asked the question that brought us to this moment. As we step into this next chapter together, one thing we know for sure is that life, like music, is simply better when we’re together.
