We want our wedding to be authentically us, super fun, and memorable. We have opted to have an 8ft pizza with a variety of toppings be made while the ceremony is taking place! How fun right?! If pizza is not your thing, no worries! We will also have light bites and a salad bar area.

We've been waiting for this day for a while, and I'm ready to party. Can we BYOB?

Answer

We love the enthusiasm, but we also love the venue owners and want to abide by their rules (and insurance policy). BYOB is prohibited.

What is the Power Avenue Warehouse anyway?

Answer

Originally constructed as the Schumacher Wholesale Grocery Warehouse in 1894, the now Power Avenue Warehouse housed the city's first refrigerated grocery storage and remained in operation until 1952. Today, the building is one of Victoria's least altered industrial sites. It also has a fun open-air elevator shaft in the middle of the building that we will be using as our alter to get married in front of!

What is the dress code?

Around here, we love color and patterns. Our wedding will be no different! For Women: Think colorful, floral dresses or skirts in a variety of prints and bright tones—florals, pastels, or even bold patterns! Go for something breezy and comfortable, like a midi or tea-length dress, or a stylish jumpsuit. For Men: A smart-casual look is ideal—think lightweight button-down shirts or polos in fun colors or subtle floral prints. Pair them with chinos or nice trousers. You can keep it relaxed with loafers, stylish sneakers, or a dressier option if you so wish. A colorful tie or pocket square can add a playful touch too!
