What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please plan to arrive around 4:00pm. No need to arrive too early!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are requesting "garden" attire with a Nashville flair. We want our guests to get a little dressed up with us, while still being fun and comfortable! Men, leave the ties at home. Ladies, short or midi dresses are fine. No need for full length gowns. Bright colors or patterns are also fine. Cowboy and cowgirl boots and hats are encouraged! Still not sure what to wear? What is the weather like?

Answer

Summers in Tennessee can be very hot and humid. Temperature in June can range from the mid to high 70s or low to mid 80s. It could be sunny and lovely or stormy and incredibly humid. The ceremony will be outside on a covered patio overlooking the golf course, so we recommend adding Hendersonville to your favorite weather app and checking on the forecast before packing! The Welcome Reception on Friday will have a mix of in and outdoor seating. The cocktail reception following the ceremony will be in and outdoors and the dinner and reception will be completely indoors.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Transportation for all events related to the wedding is not provided. Parking is free at the hotels, welcome reception location, and wedding venue. All venues have plenty of parking. Parking downtown is paid. We recommend the Nashville Public Library Parking Lot (see travel page for more details). Ubers/Lyfts from the airport are easy to book. Ubers/Lyft are a little more scarce in Hendersonville, so check ride availability in advance or consider scheduling a ride ahead of time if you are worried about timing.

Are kids welcome?

So that everyone can enjoy all that Nashville has to offer and the entirety of our ceremony and reception, we have decided to make the wedding adults only. We understand that this situation might not work for every family, so we ask that you RSVP either way and only for those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Do we have a registry?

Answer

Yes! We have a registry at Williams Sonoma/Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, and Amazon. You can find all three on the "Registry" tab on this website! Thank you for considering a gift for the couple!
