No. In lieu of gifts, we have set up a registry on this site full of experiences we hope to have on our honeymoon! If you would like to gift us anything, we are asking loved ones to choose an experience to treat us to. Please see the registry tab above! There are lots of fun things on our wishlist and we would be delighted for any adventure!
Yes. Parents and siblings have been invited on this big trip. We desperately wanted to plan a small group to Italy to do things this way, but quickly, that began to evolve into a much, much bigger event than we could afford.
We love each and every one of you. There are many loved ones we would have been so happy celebrate with. But between covid changing our plans and price inflations for wedding events post-covid, a small ceremony with our parents became the most logical and earnest choice for us. We thank you for your understanding and hope you feel a part of it once our wedding video is posted! (We really did get a fabulous storyteller of a videographer).
This often asked question surprised both of us quite a bit. We are so touched so many of you were both willing to make such a trip and want to be there so badly. Unfortunately, between the venue and our videographer and photographer, we cannot afford other guests. However, we definitely encourage anyone to visit Italy on their own time! Arguably the most magical place in the world (in our totally unbiased opinion of course).
Because we didn't get one! More importantly, our parents didn't get one. We felt if there was anyone in the world who most deserved to see Trey and I say our vows, it was our parents. We always intended to do something after we were wed during covid, but the prices for weddings were absolutely staggering since so many had to put off their ceremonies during the pandemic - we honestly feared we wouldn't be able to afford anything at all! We are so relieved and excited to be able to do this for us and for our parents.
