Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the wedding ceremony at the Gurdwara, we kindly ask all guests to dress modestly and respectfully. Please wear clothing that covers your shoulders, arms, and legs (long dresses, skirts, or pants are ideal). Everyone, regardless of gender, will need to cover their head inside the temple—scarves or head coverings are required (hats and baseball caps are not appropriate). We’ll have extra scarves available if needed. Shoes must be removed before entering the prayer hall, so consider wearing easy-to-remove footwear. Traditional Indian attire, such as salwar kameez or sarees for women and kurta pajamas for men, is welcomed but not required Guests are welcome to wear the same attire for the entire day or change into something different for the traditional American ceremony in the evening—either choice is perfectly appropriate.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore your kiddos, we’re keeping our wedding grown-ups only—except for our little VIPs (aka our nieces).

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be plenty of parking available in a gravel lot at the venue. You're welcome to leave your car overnight if needed—we just ask that all vehicles be picked up the following morning. Uber and Lyft are also available in the area if you prefer to catch a ride!
