9:00 am - 12:00 pm
We will hold a traditional Indian ceremony at Gurdwara Temple. For the wedding ceremony at the Gurdwara, we kindly ask all guests to dress modestly and respectfully. Please wear clothing that covers your shoulders, arms, and legs (long dresses, skirts, or pants are ideal). Everyone, regardless of gender, will need to cover their head inside the temple—scarves or head coverings are required (hats and baseball caps are not appropriate). We’ll have extra scarves available if needed. Shoes must be removed before entering the prayer hall, so consider wearing easy-to-remove footwear. Traditional Indian attire, such as salwar kameez or sarees for women and kurta pajamas for men, is welcomed but not required.
5:00 pm - 11:00 pm
We’ll begin with a traditional American ceremony, followed by a reception. Dress to celebrate! Formal or cocktail attire is perfect—dresses, gowns, suits—elegant but not too serious. Want to embrace the cultural vibe? Indian attire like lehengas, sarees, or sherwanis is warmly welcomed but completely optional. We will have a buffet with a mix of traditional Indian and American BBQ dishes. You’re welcome to enjoy either cuisine—or sample both! To help us plan and make sure there’s plenty for everyone, please let us know which option you’re more likely to choose: Indian, BBQ, or Both. Also, there will be an open bar—cheers in advance!
