By when do I need to RSVP?

Please RSVP by March 1st so we can have an accurate headcount!

How are you planning on creating a fusion wedding?

Answer

GLAD YOU ASKED! We have been spending lots of time with our families learning the important elements of each culture and carefully blending them together in a way that feels right to us. As such, we are taking important elements of a traditional Hindu wedding and a Christian wedding to create our wedding ceremony and events.

Am I expected to attend all events?

Answer

We would love to have you at all events but understand that it might not be possible! If you need to choose which one(s) to attend, we would prefer you to attend the wedding ceremony. Both the Sangeet and Reception are optional but please RSVP either way so we know for headcount!

Can I bring a date and are kids invited?

Answer

The formal invitation will be directly addressed to all invited guests. We will not have any other +1s. Additionally, as much as we would love to extend the invite, this is a grown-up event. We appreciate your understanding!

What should I Wear?

Answer

For the Sangeet and Wedding Ceremony, Indian attire is preferred (see Wedding Attire page). For the reception, American cocktail attire is preferred. Please feel free to wear whatever you feel best in for any event!

What will the weather be?

Answer

Generally, May in Colorado is full spring! Temperatures will likely be chilly in the morning and evening, and warm up during the day. As it's spring, there is a chance of rain showers throughout the day but a low chance you will encounter snow (although, you never know!). But as any Coloradan will tell you, Colorado weather changes all the time so we would recommend looking the week of your travel for the latest report! Plan A is to have the ceremony outside, so please keep this in mind when planning your attire.

How do I get around the area?

Monument is a small town in Colorado foothills! We recommend renting a car for traveling to the town and exploring around. As it is a small town, Uber/Lyft can be unreliable so please plan ahead.

When should I book my travel?

Answer

We recommend starting to track travel as soon as possible and booking at least 4 months in advance. Check out our travel tab for all recommendations!
