Honorary Matron of Honor
Sarah and I met while I was completing my MSW program at East Carolina University. Sarah was in her first year of teaching at that time. Our friend, Heather, and I were living in a little duplex in Greenville and convinced Sarah to move into a separate duplex across the cul-de-sac. The three of us were inseparable, we even branded ourselves as the "tri-pod." My friendship with Sarah has only gotten stronger over the years. From tri-pod days to learning how to maneuver a friendship in a new city to helping each other plan weddings, Sarah's friendship is one that I would never be able to go without.
Officiant / Honorary Best Man
Andrew and Trey grew up in Greenville, NC and both took an interest in golf at a very early age. This was the spark to years of friendship. Trey married his wife, Peggy, in January 2018 and was the initial cause of our relationship. It is because of this and Trey and Andrew's longstanding friendship that we immediately knew we wanted to ask Trey to officiate our big day. Trey and Peggy have five beautiful children and still live in Greenville, NC today.
Honorary Matron of Honor
Heather and I met during our freshman year of undergraduate at East Carolina. Who would have known that a conversation about small shoe sizes would have sparked a 10 year friendship. Heather and I lived together for three years in Greenville and followed it up with another three years after the move to Raleigh. Needless to say, she knows me better than my own family at times. Heather is truly one of the most loyal and loving humans on this earth and I am so thankful for her friendship.
Honorary Groomsman
Parker and Andrew met through their jobs at Peter Millar. Aside from working for the same company, both are lovers of golf and struck up a friendship because of this mutual interest. If there is a weekend that has temperatures over 50 degrees, you can absolutely count on these two being on the course. Parker married his wife, Maggie, in July 2018 and the two live in Durham, NC.
Honorary Bridesmaid
My friendship with Danielle sparked after my move to Raleigh and has remained constant ever since. From nights on the couch with wine and cheese to spontaneous trips to the beach to nights in Vegas, I know that Danielle is a friend that is always down for a good time. It is a running joke that Danielle is a lover of all things military and has a better understanding of politics and current news than some politicians so naturally she is also my source for worldly updates. She is truly a friend that I can go to for anything and I wouldn't trade our friendship for the world.
Honorary Groomsman
Will and Andrew grew up together in Greenville, NC on the golf course. For years Andrew viewed Will as a big brother but over the years this mentorship has evolved into a friendship. Will is a friend that Andrew knows he can call on no matter the distance or time that has been put between the two. Will currently lives in New Bern, NC with his girlfriend, Virginia.
Honorary Bridesmaid
Brice and I met while in school at ECU but our friendship really took off when we both relocated to Raleigh, NC. Aside from being my go-to girl for all things fashion, beauty and wine, she is also a model for the word "friend." She is someone that will drop anything for a friend in need and for that I am always thankful. As Andrew and I embark on this new phase of life, I can't wait to have her along for the ride, every step of the way.
Honorary Groomsman
Dustin and Andrew grew up together in Greenville, NC and were inseperable. When college arrived the two went seperate ways; Andrew to NCSU and Dustin to AppState. Although they have not lived in the same city in over 10 years, they have still been able to maintain the friendship. Dustin currently lives in Washington, D.C. and is finishing his PhD in Chemistry.
Honorary Bridesmaid
Paige and I met while working at Mellow Mushroom together for over three years. We were both hired on as "OG Shroomies" from the day the restaurant opened. Those three years were filled with making friendships, eating obscene amounts of pizza, trips to the river and NC beaches, and more. Paige was there for some of the most fun times of my late college experience. Now that we have both relocated to Raleigh and Paige has married her hubby, Ben, the fun only continues for the two of us. We just get to bring Ben and Andrew along for the ride, too.
Honorary Groomsman
Ben and Andrew struck up a friendship very quickly, thanks to Paige and I. Ben and Andrew are two of the most laid-back and easy-going humans, so it is no surprise that they have become close friends. The four of us have spent numerous date nights together and look forward to many more to come. Ben and Paige live in Cary, NC with their fur babies, Bella and Remy.
Honorary Bridesmaid
From juice boxes to wine glasses, Leah and I have a friendship that has been through it all. We met in preschool and were instantly friends. The last twenty-five years (wow!) have been filled with so many memories from childhood days at the community pool to college nights in downtown Greenville. I am so lucky to have a friendship that has lasted as long as ours. I can't wait to continue conquering the rest of life stages with Leah by my side.
