Anna and Megan met at Valparaiso University through their sorority Pi Beta Phi. Anna and Megan became close friends when Megan was revealed as Anna's Big Sister. The two have gone on vacation to South Padre Island, TX together and lived together for their last semester of school. Megan graduated with her mechanical engineering degree in December 2018 and is now working for Toyota as an Interior Design Engineer.
Brandon Wildman
Best Man
Brandon and Mike met at Valparaiso University their freshman year. They became close when Mike's first roommate suddenly moved out and Brandon moved in. Mutual hobbies and a love of the TV show Archer helped them bond quickly. Brandon would help Anna surprise Mike at Valpo while they were long distance. Mike considers Brandon one of "the guys." Brandon currently works in Sales, and plans to move into Management.
Hailey Richards
Bridesmaid
Anna and Hailey met in high school through mutual friends. Though Hailey went to a different high school than Anna, Hailey quickly became "one of the group" through group hangouts and girl's nights. Hailey is also close with Anna's younger brother Mitchell and Mike. She is considered one of the family! Hailey is studying nursing at Carthage College. She plans to find a specialty she enjoys and hopes to be able to someday teach within the field of nursing or healthcare. Fun fact: Hailey loves her cat Blu!
Bryan Summers
Groomsman
Mike first met Bryan at 2 years old, and since then they've had an on-again-off-again sibling rivalry. Now Bryan is the taller of the two, but he's still the youngest. Their father can attest to the fact that they work well together. Sometimes. Despite this they maintain a close relationship with shared interests in computers and gaming. Bryan is currently attending school to be a mechanic and anticipates working in a more specialized area upon graduation.
Grace Kluchka
Bridesmaid
Anna and Grace met when they were kids on the Zion Dolphins Swim Team. Grace's bubbly and outgoing personality made it easy for them to become lifelong friends! When reconnecting in high school they became even closer. Grace is studying environmental engineering at Michigan Technological University. Grace has done internships in Minnesota and Georgia. She plans to combine her passion for women in STEM with her experience in industry. Grace encourages sustainability and a green environment!
Mitchell Ihrig
Groomsman
Despite being Anna's younger brother, Mitch and Mike are very close. They worked together for many years at 2 different pools, in a few different roles. Mike, Anna, and Mitch all worked at Port Shiloh Pool for 2 years, with Mike as Head Guard, Anna as Deputy Head Guard, and Mitch as a Snack Shack Extraordinaire. Mitch is currently studying to be a CPA at Northern Michigan University, where he was also on the Swimming and Diving team for 2 years.
Tyler Kerbs
Usher
Tyler and Mike have been close friends since high school. Tyler was a lifeguard for a summer with Anna and Mike at Port Shiloh Pool before leaving to join the Navy. Tyler is currently an Electrician's Mate Nuclear second class. Despite being stationed in Japan, Mike and Tyler remain great friends and keep in touch often.
