Travel Details

We appreciate everyone traveling — near and far — to join us in Hudson. It’s not the easiest place to get to, and it means so much to us to have you there to celebrate.

FLYING

-

NEW YORK CITY AIRPORTS You can fly into JFK, LaGuardia (LGA), or Newark (EWR). From any of these airports, you can either rent a car or transit to Penn Station and catch the Amtrak train to Hudson (about a 2-hour ride). ALBANY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT From here, you can rent a car, take a rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc.), or catch the Amtrak train from the Albany-Rensselaer Station. Located closer to Hudson, Albany is about a 1-hour drive.

BY TRAIN

-

FROM NEW YORK CITY Take the Amtrak from Penn Station directly to Hudson Station. The ride is about 2 hours and offers beautiful views along the Hudson River. FROM ALBANY Catch an Amtrak from Albany-Rensselaer Station directly to Hudson. Trains run frequently, the ride takes around 20-25 minutes. Note: the Hudson Amtrak Station is located right in downtown Hudson, just a short walk to Warren Street and nearby accommodations.

DRIVING

-

FROM NEW YORK CITY Driving to Hudson takes about 2-2.5 hours, depending on traffic. FROM ALBANY Hudson is about a 1-hour drive south of Albany.

GETTING AROUND HUDSON

-

Rideshare options like Uber and Lyft are very limited in Hudson, so we recommend not relying on them during the weekend. This is one of the reasons we suggest staying near Warren Street, where most events will take place. If you’ll need transportation, a rental or personal car is your best bet for getting around easily.
