Rockafeller’s Restaurant has remained a staple in Matt’s and Summer’s lives since their beginning. Matt has been apart of his family’s restaurant for as long as he can remember and holds it close to his heart. Summer began working at Rockafeller’s in 2011. At the time, Matt had no clue what the future would hold! Summer began her crush for Matt shortly after working at Rockafeller’s! It truly seemed like a silly thing at first, but over the years a true connection and bond for each-other had begun. They began running in the same circles outside of the restaurant and creating a bond and love that would become what it is today. There would be no other place than home base for us to gather everyone to celebrate the years of growth and love we’ve been blessed with!

On Thanksgiving of 2020 Matt had the idea of both of their families gathering together! He decided to take Summer back to where it all began. As the family joined together, Matt asked Summer to close her eyes and take a walk as he explained how lucky they were to be loved by one another and by their surrounding family! As they approached the edge of the water, Matt asked Summer to open her eyes and there stood both of their brothers holding a sign reading, “Will You Marry Me?” As Summer turned around, Matt stood on bended knee and from there this new chapter had begun!
