Yes! We ask that everyone dress as though they're going to a family barbeque, but not as fancy as you would for Sunday church. Since it will all be outdoors, dress according to the weather, and wearing heeled shoes is highly advised against, for the sake of not only your shoes but your ankles as well!
We are asking all guests to bring at least one dish of food per group, meaning that if a couple comes we only ask that they bring one dish of food instead of two. We suggest foods that don't have to be kept constantly warm, but any foods can be kept in the house until the reception and brought out then. It is completely fine to bring something in a crock pot, but it will not be able to be plugged up once brought outside. Finger foods are perfect, as well as desserts. I'm not too good with thinking of ideas so if you have any please feel free to send them to me! Anything will help tremendously, since we have so many mouths to feed.
No! This is something Kenny and I find incredibly disrespectful and it would effectively end any relationship had with you, from both of us.
We will be having the wedding on the property of Summer's family home. There is a pasture up the hill where the wedding ceremony will be, outdoors, and then the reception will be down the hill in the back yard, it is a very woods-y area and will also be outdoors.
