If wanting to try to get the best of both worlds, and enjoy time both at the beach and in the happening area of Downtown St. Pete if you are staying in one of these areas, check out the SunRunner. The SunRunner is a new Bus Rapid Transit service that connects St. Pete Beach and downtown St. Petersburg. SunRunner buses arrive every 15 minutes from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday-Saturday. Evening service runs every 30 minutes from 8 p.m. to midnight.
