12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Softball Semi-Formal (softball gloves if you have them, shoes you don't care about, and whatever you might wear to play or watch a sport)
There is a park near our house with a softball field (about a mile away). We'll play for a couple hours or hang out there as you like (there are basketball courts, tennis courts, playground etc.). Then we can head over to the house to replenish whatever calories we lost. No level of prior experience or knowledge required. Feel free to also come and heckle those braver than you.
3:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Whatever You Think Will Resist Brisket and Oyster Stains
We want to welcome our friends and family who made the trip (long and short) to come to the wedding with local food we really love: oysters, cheese, and fresh bread from Tamales Bay, and Sara's special sous vide brisket (plus some other stuff that may actually include vegetables and/or fruit, maybe). There will be drinks and a jam for those musical and interested (but there won't be Space Jam with Michael Jordan). Come by whenever you are able, but no promises that there will be brisket left if you come late.
2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Dress to impress American sailors during the period between the American Revolution and The War of 1812 . . . or wear whatever you want.
Be there at 2pm! The ceremony will start at 2:30 sharp and the reception will follow immediately if not sooner.
9:30 am - 1:30 pm
Bills Gear
Food, drinks, football at a great bar with a great beer list. There's indoor and outdoor space, pool table, darts, etc. Hair of the dog (Mookie has plenty to spare!).
