We both started at EMC soon after college. Our department was filled with recent college grads where everyone bonded quickly being similar in age and still day dreaming of college life. We met at lunch one day, soon after Mike started. After almost an hour of me bugging Mike, asking him questions about Bryant and this town called Norwood (soon after I would learn the importance of this special town) we started to become friends. Our friendship continued with me constantly popping into Mikes cube and distracting him from his work. When we both moved to Boston and found out we only lived 5 minutes from each other it was game over - Mike just couldn't shake me!

Summers are a crazy time, so we always try to plan an overnight trip for us to get away. This year we chose our beloved Newport. It was one of those days where nothing was going right. From a cloudy beach day, to soggy sandwiches, to battling the Newport crowds, needless to say, things weren't going as planned. Finally we decided to just head back to the hotel, get ready for dinner and have some champagne in the room. That's where our day completely turned around - Mike popped bottle AND the question!! Afterwards we had the perfect dinner at The Mooring and went out to have some shots that night! Hey - why not? We're getting married - let's party!!!
