We were both brought to Galuppi's Golf Course Restaurant in Pompano Beach by different mutual friends with the intention of watching the Florida State season opener. We were introduced to each other from across the table. On August 30th, 2014 we watched as our Noles beat Oklahoma State 37-31. Little did we know, we had won more than a football game that night!

For Jackie's 30th birthday, Kyle surprised her with a trip to where she had once lived for a couple years, Northern California, over Spring Break. After several days of exploring the San Francisco area, they traveled a few hours east for a change in scenery and excited to experience Lake Tahoe. In true Kyle-fashion, he had been stashing the ring for a while but had no idea exactly when he would pop the question, other than doing it on this vacation. They spent March 27th driving around the lake and sledding down a random hill. Although, Jackie was not thrilled about going back out in the snow after a warm shower, their friend Justin convinced her to take a quick walk to the beach later that afternoon. Once on the beach in the snow, Kyle got down on one knee and asked Jackie to be his forever. In true Jackie-fashion, the cameras that were recording made her nervous and she quickly ushered him up off the ground to hug her new fiance.
