Best Friend to the Bride for almost 20 years. They met when Amanda moved to Caroline in Junior High. Their friendship became everlasting when they bonded over snorting fun dip powder in the GTI parking lot on lunch break. Over the years they have created many cherished memories, including being "pot heads" in foods class, pulling all nighters drinking "ra ra", and Amanda never neglecting to tell Brandi how hot her Dad and Brother are. They share a love for dogs, classic rock music, making people shake their heads and weird shit. Manda Mae and Brandi Rae forever !
Jessie Styner
Bridesmaid
Jessie is the Bride's younger and crazier sister. Just like any other sisterly relationship, they have had their ups and downs. Stealing one another's clothes, petty arguments, finding your sister's weed stash and smoking it with your parents, getting into a fist fight over a blow dryer... you know, the usual. But no matter what fights they may have had, they will always have each other's backs, because no one is allowed to talk shit about their sister except for them!! Over the years their bond has continued to grow stronger, going from the days of playing Harry Potter in the back yard and singing "keep bleeding love" at the top of their lungs, to watching Jessie become an amazing Mom to Brandi's 3 beautiful nephews. To quote the wise words of Dumbledore, "Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if only one remembers to turn on the light."
Tyler Styner
Man of Honor
Tyler, or better known as "The Golden Boy" is the Bride's younger, but arguably more mature, little brother. Being the youngest of 3 and having 2 older sisters, poor Tyler was put through a lot when he was little. Brandi and Jessie would convince him that he had to chew up worms to feed a baby bird he found, would dress him up in a bikini stuffed with oranges to go to the "Little Store" and give him make overs. But Tyler would often get fed up and get his revenge by running away to the neighbour's in the rain wearing his tighty whities and cardboard shoes, or throwing horse crap in Brandi's mouth. Despite all the teasing he received growing up, Brandi and him have always remained close and we have had the pleasure of watching him grow up into an incredible young man and even more amazing Father to two beautiful children. Also after a few shots at the wedding Tyler will most likely think he is the Rap Battle All star, so someone should definitely challenge him.
Daniel Cockburn
Best Man
Daniel is the younger, more energetic and wild brother of the groom. He is also the groom's best friend. Their relationship was never rocky, just a few fist fights here and there as most brothers do. They may be each others biggest antagonists but will always have each others backs no matter what. They make quite the duo haha! There are so many memories to talk about, whether it be playing hockey or football in the back yard, or being the loudest and proudest of fans when they took turns watching the other play football. The years and the beers have strengthened their bond as brothers, that is why the Groom couldn't see anyone else standing up there with him. In the wise words of a couple party animals "I'm on my way, just set me free, home sweet home." The Groom can confirm he found his heart and home, he's also incredibly happy to have his brother and best friend to be standing side by side with him to take his first steps into his forever Home Sweet Home.
Ryker Styner
Junior Groomsmen
Ryker where do I even start? I guess at the beginning, when we first at Montana's and you barely said a single word to me, great start I'd say haha. You've said a few words to me since, so many words in fact that I could not imagine not having you stand beside me. I can remember when Aunty Brandi said "make sure Ryker likes you".. Well liking you was the easy part, getting you to like me was a little harder haha, but I know I love you buddy and we have had some pretty great bonding moments. Whether it be you teaching me how to fish at Fork Lake, or you and I cleaning up Uncle Ty's and Aunty Tash's living room well jamming to kick start my heart, or even our little heart to hearts we have when no one else is around. Thankyou for the times you opened up to me when Aunty Brandi sends on grocery runs in the truck or to pick up snacks and we blast the tunes and talk about music and art. I just wanted to thank you for saying yes to being up there with your aunt and myself and welcoming me to your family. I guess this sort of just turned into a love note to you buddy. One more time thank you for saying yes to being my groomsman and for welcoming me to the family. Don't steal anyone's chapstick tonight haha
Tony "Baloney" Winsel
Groomsman
Where to begin with Tony "Baloney"? We first met Tony on a random night at the Tavern (local watering hole) and we haven't looked back since. Whether it be the countless nights watching the oilers games, or rather listening to Tony scream at the tv for 2 and half hours, or watching the fire maestro build the best back yard fires. Brandi, Tony and myself have made a lot of incredible memories in the last year and a bit, and I couldn't think of anyone but Tony to stand up at the alter with me cause Tony for sure will always have my back. I measure my friendships with quality over quantity and the quality of time we've spent with Tony means so much to us.
