The Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail

If you're staying at Hotel Clermont or the Wylie, you can pick up the Beltline, Atlanta's pedestrian highway, right next to Ponce City Market and walk north to Piedmont Park or south to the historic neighborhoods of Inman Park (where we live! check out the historic homes around Elizabeth St) and Cabbagetown/Reynoldstown (where we used to live! check out Carroll St and surrounds)

Hiking Suggestions

If you're looking for a hike, here are some of our favorites: - Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area: explore the river that Stephanie protects! There are many areas for hiking - start with East Palisades, where you can park at the East Palisades Trailhead or Indian Trail lots. - Sweetwater Creek State Park: family friendly trails 25 minutes from the center of Atlanta - Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area: a granite monadnock with views and unique flora. Park in the AWARE Wildlife Center lot.
