Are kids invited?
Answer
The Wedding Ceremony and Reception on Saturday are adults only, no children please. We have recommendations for babysitters below. Kids are very welcome for the Welcome Party on Friday and the Farewell Event on Sunday. We ask that you please let us know if you are bringing children to these events so that we can plan accordingly. Just drop us an email at stephjstutts[at]gmail.com and gregory.thaler[at]gmail.com!

The Wedding Ceremony and Reception are intimate events for close family and friends, and we are unfortunately unable to accommodate guests beyond those named on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Will we be outdoors or indoors? Will there be air conditioning?
Answer
The Friday Welcome Party is on a covered rooftop, so it is sheltered from rain but is not air conditioned. The Saturday Wedding Ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, weather permitting. In the event of rain or extreme heat, we will move these events indoors. The Wedding Reception will be indoors and is air conditioned. The Sunday Farewell Gathering is in a gazebo in a park and is an outdoor event. The gazebo provides shelter in case of rain.

Where can I park?
Answer
We recommend using rideshare services such as Lyft and Uber, especially if you plan on drinking. If you are planning to drive to the Welcome Party, you can find street parking and surface lots in the Summerhill neighborhood where Halfway Crooks is located, including free parking in the lot on the north side of Georgia Ave between Hank Aaron Drive and Fraser Street. If you are planning to drive to the Wedding Ceremony and Reception, parking is available at Callanwolde. If you are planning to drive to the Farewell Gathering, park in the Grant Park Gateway parking deck ($10) or on nearby streets (free). The intersection of Berne St SE and Park Ave SE is nearest the gazebo, which is located on a hill close to the Grant Park Pool.
