I fell in love with this spot the first time I went out there! We are going to be taking wedding photos at this location. Absolutely stunning with the water and mountains in the background!
Beautiful location with great shops and restaurants, also a great place to bike. There is also a ferry from Bainbridge Island to Seattle.
Walk or drive on to the Bremerton ferry and head to Seattle for the day! The views from the ferry are beautiful and you can see downtown Seattle up close from the boat.
Viking-themed downtown with fun restaurants and shopping.
Idyllic spot for biking. Butcher and Baker is a great spot for food and amazing baked goods.
Mount Walker is across the hood canal bridge, about 1 hour and 45 minutes from the Elks Lodge in Bremerton. If you are an avid hiker, you can hike this location. If you are not an avid hiker and the road is open, you can drive up to the top. The views there are insane. You can even see Seattle on a clear day.
Beautiful waterfall that is close to Mount Walker trail. You can swim in it during the summer if you want an adrenaline rush (it's pretty cold but amazing!).
Jon and I work and live very close to here! There is a quaint, historic downtown with shopping and restaurants with water views.
Jon and I love Fort Warden State Park. You can walk or hang out on the beach, fly a kite, go swimming (still cold), or kayak.
If you are making this trip into a vacation, you can't go wrong with visiting Olympic National Park! Lake Crescent is one of our favorites. Hurricane Ridge is a drive up into mountains with a quick and easy hike to see mountain views. Sol Duc Falls is a rainforest location with a picturesque waterfall.
