Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have a room block at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. You need to call the hotel directly at 360-377-2111 and book under "Wiederanders Stuart Wedding" in order to get the discounted price. You must reserve the room by June 19, 2026. $15 + tax/night for parking if needed- no buses, RVs, etc. Complimentary breakfast If you need early check in, call the hotel to see if there is availability. Please see the travel page on our website for more information on this hotel, or other hotels around the area.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is casual to semi-formal. We understand it is a summer outdoor wedding so please dress to be comfortable. You may want to bring a jacket in case it gets cold or windy into the evening hours. There will be a tent and a heater for the reception!

Will there be alcohol?

We will have a cash bar for guests to purchase their preferred drinks.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance.

Is it outdoor only?

Answer

The Elks Lodge members are using the indoor space as it is a Friday. We can use the restrooms and go inside to the bar. The coordinator has assured us we will have privacy at our event.

Where do I fly in/Can I use public transport to get there without renting a car?

Answer

SeaTac (Seattle/Tacoma) Airport is the closest major airport to Bremerton. There are a couple of options: 1. Bremerton-Kitsap Airporter. You can make a reservation online. They will pick you up from the airport and bring you to Bremerton. $80 round trip 2. Take the Light Rail from SeaTac airport to the Seattle Ferry Terminal. Then, take the Seattle Ferry to Bremerton. This does require some wait time. The light rail takes about 45 minutes to get to ferry terminal, then there is typically a wait at the ferry terminal until the next ferry leaves. Then, the ferry over takes 1 hour.

Yes, but as we are keeping the guest list small, we will let you know if your child can attend our wedding celebration.

Can I wear perfume?

Answer

Please, no perfume or fragranced lotions. We have family members who have had severe allergic reactions to fragrances.

Can I karaoke at your wedding?

Answer

Why yes, yes, you can! We will be doing karaoke later in the evening. Be thinking of what song you would like to do!
