Maid of Honor
Lindsay stole Jenny's thunder when she was born in 1991, two years after Jenny made the debut of making Bob and Cath parents. Although Lindsay still has a lot of making up to do, Jenny and Lindsay became the best of friends. While Lindsay towers above Jenny in height, there is no one who looks 'up' to her sister as much as Lindsay does. Jenny is a generous and beautiful soul with a way of making everyone feel wholesome and loved. She is thoughtful and patient (especially when playing Barbies for week's upon end with Lindsay), and she has taught Lindsay a whole lot about life's gifts and challenges. Lindsay can't wait for Jenny to stand by her side as her maid...I mean MATRON of honor! Jenny is getting married a week before Lindsay...told you we were close! Love you Daboo!

It all started over quesadillas and Ancient Civilizations. In high school, Lindsay was a timid girl afraid to branch out to other friend groups. Elyssa welcomed her right into the group, and she did so with open arms...and cheese. They became the best of friends and they have a friendship Lindsay truly treasures. Elyssa has a way of telling Lindsay what she needs to hear, and with logical reasons. Elyssa's wit, faith, and positive spirit are some of the qualities that Lindsay most admires about Elyssa. These two friends may now live on opposite sides of the country, but their friendship knows no bounds and they always pick up right where they left off.

From racing next to each other in the pool, attending colleges in Ohio together, to nail painting parties and the grizzly rose, these two have become inseparable. Julie's charismatic nature and her quick wit captures the heart of many day in and day out. Determination to live a life of abundance is Julie's forte! Lindsay's fondest memories with Julie include Smoky Hill swim meets, line dancing till the sun goes down, and spending time in the Great Outdoors hiking!

It was about time Lindsay and Korinne crossed paths in 2013. Although Korinne and Lindsay had similar upbringings, it wasn't until the two connected at CU Denver that they became the best of friends. From the long light rail rides, to class, to becoming teachers together, to roommates, Korinne is an exuberant and downright honest friend who will be with Lindsay till the end! Lindsay's fondest memory with Korinne has to be the time the two were late to class (due to a light rail malfunction). Korinne proceeded to cause a scene by announcing EVERYTHING that happened to the class. Lindsay admires Korinne's zest for the Lord, life, and teaching... & her willingness to tell it how it is! Korinne's laugh is contagious and she's got quite the dance moves! Check them out at the wedding!
Best Man
Growing up, Scott and Stuart did everything together. Their favourite summer activity was building forts on the beach or in the woods; the construction thereof being responsible for 2/3 of Stuart’s concussions. The rest of the year, life revolved around hockey practices, games, and summer camps. Even when they were on the same team, Scott and Stuart made it a competition. They pushed each other to be better at hockey, better at annoying our sisters, better at being boys. They fought like brothers and made-up like brothers (only when their mothers told them to). Scott has always been the braver of the two - from jumping into the cold water, taking his bike off a home-made ramp, or moving away from home. Stuart is proud to call Scott his best friend and honoured that he will be his best man.
Groomsman
Alex and Stuart met in the very early (and awkward) days of Grade 6 at Superior Middle School. They shared a bond over math (which Alex was better at) and playing Halo (which Alex was better at). Alex is easily the smartest person Stuart knows. Darin might be a distant second, but distant like a spec on the horizon. Alex has a way of explaining problems, concepts, and theories so that even a layperson (e.g. Stuart) can understand. Alex and Stuart’s adventures took them from Science and Math Competitions in Fredericton, to Engineering Camp in Toronto, and to the Student Leadership Conference in Lloydminster, Alberta (not to be confused with Lloydminster, Saskatchewan). Come to think of it, their ‘adventures’ were more of a grand tour of the Canadian nerd circuit.
Groomsman
Beginning their relationship as nemeses, Darin and Stuart both thought they were the coolest guy at Superior Middle School (neither were). Darin was a star basketball player and Stuart got cut after the first tryout in Grade 6. They competed in sports, in asking girls to dance at the Sock Hop, and in being Alex’s best friend. Fast-forwarding to Grade 9, Darin and Stuart were serendipitously put in the same homeroom class. After discovering they had a lot in common (humour, good-looks, making fun of Alex, etc.) they were inseparable for the remainder of high school. As President and VP at BHS they tried to promote school spirit with a large purchase of Livestrong-style bracelets, of which very few sold, but they were able to pin the financial mishandling on the Treasurer, Alex Laffoley.
Groomsman
Hugo and Stuart first met through a mutual friend when he realized they were both going to Carleton University to study Biomedical Engineering. Their first conversation was through MSN Messenger and Hugo’s profile picture was him with long hair, holding a machete. Stuart, being polite, agreed to meet up with Hugo with the intention keeping it brief and then avoiding him for the next 4 years. Through the trial and tribulations of falling asleep in Biology lectures, stumbling through Chemistry labs, and poorly soldering ultrasonic circuits, Hugo and Stuart didn’t exactly ace First Year. As co-chairs of Biomed Club’s fledgling social committee, Hugo and Stuart found mild success in throwing parties, which could be equally blamed on poor planning and the awkwardness of engineers at a party.
Groomsman
In First Year of biomed classes at Carleton, Mike was easily identifiable by his white Toronto Maple Leafs hat, usually worn backwards “like the all cool kids do”. Mike and Stuart were always the last two people left sitting during 3-hour exams - not because they were particularly stupid, but because they shared a passion for double and triple-checking every calculation, to the point when you start doubting the accuracy of your calculator. Mike is incredibly smart and hard-working, which is why Stuart tried to be his partner for many labs and projects. In their most successful collaboration, Mike and Stuart co-authored a ground-breaking paper titled “Modeling Neural Plasticity with Memristors”. It is estimated that over a dozen people have read and cited their work to date. A dozen!
Groomsman
On his first day of graduate school, Stuart was nervous as he walked into his first class (8:00am - Rocket Propulsion). One of the few people already in the class was a cute redhead seated in the second row. His name was Alec. Alec is renowned for his hospitality and he is always willing to open up his home to make everyone feel welcome. Alec is the type of person who asks “what’s new with you?” and genuinely listens and takes interest in your life. Over the past 7 years, Alec and Stuart have shared many adventures, including a backpacking hike that was supposed to be 8-9 miles, but was actually closer to 14 miles (sorry Lindsay), offroading in places they shouldn’t, and trying the latest restaurant/brewery in town.
