We're getting married!!

Amanda popped up on Nick's "People You May Know" on Facebook. He thought she was so beautiful, he had to get to know her. They chatted occasionally online until one day Nick saw she was at the casino and went up to meet her and the rest, as they say, was history. Little did they both know, they'd been in each other's orbit long before that day. Turns out their moms were best friends in high school & they grew up about a block from each other, always running in similar circles. No matter how close they were to each other, fate had other plans and didn't bring them together until they were both ready for their happily ever after!

After the clock struck midnight, and the beautiful firework display, celebrating the new year, Nick took Amanda for a walk along their favorite place in the world-- the beach. He suggested they take a photo to commemorate the moment and tried to find a place to prop his phone up in the sand. Little did Amanda know, when she turned around, he was down on one knee, asking her to marry him. And of course, SHE SAID YES!
