For airport, hotel, and travel recommendations, check out the posts below! The north coast is amazing in September, but that means it's BUSY and will get booked up fast by travelers. It won't hurt to start planning and reserving your travels!

Flight

The Bay Area

San Francisco is about a 3.5 hour drive away from Fort Bragg. If you fly into the Bay Area, we recommend looking into these airports: San Francisco Intl' Airport, Oakland Intl' Airport, and the San Jose Intl' Airport.

Flight

Sacramento

Also about a 3.5 hour drive away from Fort Bragg. We recommend looking into the Sacramento Intl' Airport.

Travel Note

Carpooling

If you have room in your car for out-of-town guests, or you are an out-of-town guest in need of a ride, please join our private carpooling page! You can either post a seat(s) in your car or reserve a seat for yourself to save on travel costs AND meet your fellow awesome guests!

Travel Note

Transit To/From Fort Bragg

The easiest way to get to Fort Bragg is by driving there but if you can't get a car and can't find a carpool, there are other ways! Check out rome2rio.com, where you can find bus/train routes from your origination (ex: San Francisco or Sacramento) to Fort Bragg and back.

Travel Note

Vacation Rentals

If you're considering turning the weekend into a north coast getaway, we highly recommend browsing the vacation rentals and rooms throughout Mendocino County on sites like these: airbnb.com, vrbo.com, and vacasa.com. Our advice is to book something pretty much ASAP! Septembers in Fort Bragg/Mendocino get booked up FAST, so it's never too early to start booking.

Travel Note
