In lieu of a rehearsal dinner, we'd like to invite all our guests to a welcome dinner! Come for a casual meal, many rounds of cornhole, a fire pit (if weather permits), and meet your fellow guests. Don't forget to check the temperature forecast and dress for it! Tim's uncle Dave and aunt Shelly have generously offered to host us on their property (~10 minute drive from downtown Fort Bragg). Directions and parking instructions to come soon! We're providing the food and non-alcoholic beverages, so this is a BYOB party as long as you have a designated driver!

We're kicking off the big day with an early walk down to the Glass Beach shore, where officiant Ben Irons will lead us in a group meditation! Feel free to join us for as much or as little of the walk as you'd like - the bride and groom will start walking from the Redwood Coast Inn (formerly the Grey Whale Inn) at 8:30 am and will reach the trail head at about 9:00 am. There is parking at the trail head if you'd like to meet us there, and dogs are permitted on leashes. If you walk from the trail head it's a quarter mile to the shore (half a mile total), and if you walk from the Inn it's about 3 quarters of a mile to the shore (about 1.5 miles total). Redwood Coast Inn address: 615 North Main Street, Fort Bragg, CA 95437 Glass Beach trail head and parking address: 900-1010 Glass Beach Dr, Fort Bragg, CA 95437

Septembers in Fort Bragg are generally pleasant, not rainy, and on the chilly side. On average, the month's high temperatures are in the 60's and the lows are in the 40's. Our ceremony is outside on a lawn, so don't forget to bring layers and wear shoes that are suitable for walking across grass. A printed map of the garden is included with your invitation, showing designated wedding parking and entrances. You are more than welcome to use the regular guest parking and entrances though, and you may arrive as early as 3:30 pm if you'd like to wander the grounds before the ceremony. All guests must exit the Dahlia Garden by 5:30 pm and start making their ways to the reception. The garden provides motor scooters for guests who need mobility assistance from the parking lot to the ceremony site and back.

We're getting things started with a wine and cheese hour from approximately 6-7 pm, followed by dinner, dessert, and dancing! We are proudly serving an all-vegetarian buffet dinner with vegan and gluten-free options, and the sister-of-the-bride (who's a pastry chef extraordinaire) is providing desserts. Beverages provided throughout the entire reception are: spa water, lemonade, beer, and wine (if you feel like anything stiffer you're welcome to BYOBeverages).
11:00 pm
The party in the reception hall has to end at 11 pm, but that doesn't mean it has to stop! Everyone is welcome to walk over to the Tip Top Lounge and join us for a night cap.
