Best Man
He's my brother and the only one that can say has known me their whole life. After 20 years of being picked on and beat up by me, the least I could do is let him be in the wedding. He was one of the first people to get to meet Jul after we started dating, and has taken some long road trips with us both. I'm glad he'll get to stand beside me on the biggest day of my life.
Maid of Honor
We've been best friends since about 6th grade and I'm pretty sure we've been talking about being in each other's wedding since the beginning. I'm so happy my vent buddy, my unlicensed therapist, my editor, my obsession twin, and the first person I call for almost everything is able to spend this special day with us.
Groomswoman
My best friend and the first person who I told about Jul, even before we started dating. We've been friends for longer than I can remember, and she's been there for me through countless crazy life adventures. I'm lucky to have her beside me through it all, including this.
Bridesmaid
Emily has been one of the few people I've looked up to since I was little. To me, she always had her crap together and I could ask her anything. She would usually respond with some spout of wisdom like, "Always blind bake your pie crust" or "You're going to eat that and die, and we're going to be as salty as the soy sauce that killed you!" I'm looking forward to hearing whatever wisdom she has for me when she shares this important day with us.
Groomsman
My other best friend. Mike and I have been friends since we were kids. From biking ridiculous distances at the crack of dawn, to standing beside him at his own wedding, I know I can count on him to support me up there, and also make fun of me when I cry during the ceremony to keep spirits up.
Bridesmaid
Riss has been my best friend since she first dropped onto this earth, holding fistfuls of my hair. No matter what, I always know I could go annoy her whenever I want to. From going commando at a youth soccer game to crushing it on the bowling team, she's been there with me through it all. Now, I'm so excited she can be there with me on such a life-changing day.
Groomsman
Yes, there are a lot of Ryans, so remembering the wedding party for anyone who hasn't met anyone should be easy. Just guess their name is Ryan and your chances of being right are pretty high. Ryan, Jul, and I were coworkers at Trout Unlimited. He and I have been through some terrible things together (mostly rhododendrons), but he's someone I can always count on to keep me moving. I knew when I proposed, that I wanted Ryan to be a part of all of this since he got to watch this whole thing unfold from the start. 2nd Ryan
Bridesmaid
I was absolutely thrilled when Jolyne said yes to being a bridesmaid! She's my other wacky and wonderful little sister with sass for days. Although I haven't known her as long as my other bridesmaids, I'm just as excited to have her by my side on this momentous day. I'll have all of my sisters up there with me and I couldn't be happier.
Flower Dude
When we realized we needed a flower somebody, our first thought was this flower child of ours. We knew Pinto was the natural choice for filling such a fantastical position and would do it with the utmost flare. We can't wait to see him rock the aisle in style!
