Sunfish Pond County Park
Beautiful park and pond great place for hiking or quiet scenery.
Lamoka Mountain
Beautiful creek located on Barclay mountain. On the same route you would take to sunfish pond. It can be hard to find if you’ve never been there but it’s a great spot for swimming, pictures, hiking, or even a picnic. Mt. Pisgah State Park
Beautiful state park with tons of hiking trails a beautiful lake to go fishing on a public park and swimming pool, they even have a concession stand. Wonderful place for kids or just to get some time away from life and enjoy the little things.
Round Top Park Recreation Area
Great place full of honking trails with a nice look out over the entire towns of sayre Athens and waverly once you get to the top. It’s a great place to have lunch or walk around and enjoy some time in nature.
Watkins Glen
Watkins glen is about and hour drive into New York but it’s a great place to be your in the middle of wine country on a beautiful lake with plenty of shops to go see places to eat and trails and parks to see. A great place to visit if you have the time.
