Where will the wedding be?

The wedding will be at a gorgeous venue in Gillett PA called Locust Haven. You can view they’re website on google

What should we wear?
Answer
This isn’t a black suit and tie wedding. It’s a rustic/country themed wedding so boots a nice pair of jeans and a flannel or nice shirt would fit right in! Remember it is in July so it will be fairly hot!

What should we bring?
Answer
Gifts are not necessary. But I do have a Amazon registry if you would like to get a gift or donate towards one. We will also have a card box. Be sure if you are a drinker to bring yourself a case of your choice.

Will there be food and beverages?
Answer
Of course we are going to have a nice meal table as-well, as a a desert table, with plenty of soda water and juice, there will be some premixed drinks including jungle juice, electric lemonade, and tropical rum party punch. Feel free to bring your own beer or beverage of choice.

Can we bring liquor?
Answer
We are allowing people to bring liquor, the venues policy states that we must have a reasonable party for all liquor. So if you do chose to bring liquor please be sure to give it to the “bar tender” for the night.

Designated Driver
Answer
If you are drinking at the wedding we request that you bring a designated driver. If it is seen that you don’t have one there will be a cut off hour at 8:00pm just to help ensure everyone makes it home safely. Be sure to have a great time but drink responsibly.

Can we bring a guest?
Answer
Every invitation includes a plus one or two although if you are brining someone it would be greatly appreciated to know by June 9th to have as accurate of a head count that I can get. You can reach out to me to let me know on Facebook or by my cell phone which is 5708673380.

Can we bring our kids?
Answer
Yes! Absolutely there will be plenty of babies and young children for them to be kept company I will also be setting up a “kids table” with coloring pages and maybe a board game or two to help keep them occupied.

Is there anything we should know about getting there?
Answer
Yes the road to the venue is a little rough and has a lot of pot holes, which you guesses it means it’s a dirt road. Please keep this in mind with your choice of vehicles parking is also in the grass for our motorcycle rider I will have designated parking in front of the venue so you don’t have to worry about the wet grass.

Is there a nice hotel to stay in?
Answer
Yes we have quite a few nice hotels in the area. The cheapest I know of is crystal springs inn and suites with full rooms double bed or king suite full size bathroom with a stand up shower, a full kitchen (with all cooking supplies and utensils provided), living room, and balcony or patio. They do not allow pets or smoking but they’re nightly charge is around $100 per night. There are many other great hotels but that one is my recommendation. If you want to book with them I would do it soon as they book up fast.

Where will we sit?
Answer
The answer is I don’t know I’m not going to make a seating chart the only thing I’m doing is for the ceremony the first row on each side will be reserved for our close family that is still with us a reserved seats for the loved ones we have lost along the way.
