I was a sophomore in high school back in 2010 when I met Logan. This was the first year I started track and field and met Logan during after school practice. I am the best man. My main interests are in medicine and traveling. I am currently in Physician's Assistant School in Wichita, Kansas. My hobbies include hiking and running. I am originally from New Zealand but moved to California in the 7th grade. My favorite memories with Logan would be running the 4x4 together and beating the school record, sharing Logan's first drink with him and going to Warped Tour with him. A fun fact about me is that I love going to the zoo and my favorite animal is a llama.

Matron of Honor
i’m Monika and I’m the Matron of Honor. I live in Washington and I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Emily since the minute she was born. When Emily was a baby, they moved from Washington to California. While they were packing to go, I (a 6 year old) was left alone with her and they put her on my lap. Well she was facing the wrong way so I thought it would be better to turn her around. In my attempt, I dropped her on her head on the couch with the cushions removed. So any strange quirks she may have are probably on me! She is my cousin by name, but will always be my little sister including all the bumps, tears and laughs along the way. I’m very happy to say that Logan has met and exceeded my expectations and I’m so thankful to have him as part of our family.

My name is Jonny and I am Logan’s Groomsman. I am currently living in Chicago but am from San Jose. Logan and I met before our Freshman year of college on a Facebook roommate connection thing for U of A and ended up being roommates that first year. Our freshman days were spent with him playing FIFA all day and me watching not knowing what was going on. My time now is spent flying airplanes and watching after my golden retriever puppy. I am getting married next year and Logan played a HUGE role in our connection. A crazy memory of mine was when our friends and I convinced Logan that one of us got arrested after sneaking into the stadium in the middle of the night while he stayed back for some reason.

I am one of Emily‘s bridesmaids. I live in Arizona currently. I met Emily my sophomore year of high school and we have been best friends ever since. We were on the cheer team together and Emily used to be my chauffeur. I met Logan at dinner, and I knew that the two of them would always be happy. I am beyond happy that Emily found Logan, she deserves the world and he sure gives it to her. Fun fact about me and Emily, we have been friends for years now and we have never had a single fight or argument. My senior year of high school I almost moved in with Emily and her parents, they are like a second family to me and I am thankful for them every single day. My all time favorite memory with Emily is going to Disneyland with her and her mom, I was at my favorite place with my favorite people!

I am Jake and I am a groomsman. I am from Sunnyvale, CA and met Logan in 2014 at The University of Arizona. Logan and I share a love of sports especially soccer. Logan has come to many Earthquakes games with me and my family, and I'm waiting for the day we can go to a Chelsea game in London together. I am looking forward to visiting him and Emily in Portland and watching a Timbers vs Quakes game. My favorite memory of Logan is him calling me one morning thinking his car was stolen but really I had moved it for him the night before and he didn't remember. My hobbies include playing video games and with my cat Skipper.

Emily came into my life a decade ago, when a friendship blooming between our mothers proved to be the start of a lifelong friendship. Over the years, through many family fro-yo dates, game nights, and February birthdays, Emily became the sister I never had, and the friend I never knew I needed. The summer after she graduated high school, we spent a lot more time together. We took a trip to Disneyland, saw Sam Hunt, and shared gossip over Denny’s milkshakes. Watching her drive away to college was definitely a heartache I did not expect. I remember one night, Emily and I were headed to Subway for a late night snack. She was telling me about some mystery guy who she was clearly smitten with. Their story has been a joy to watch and I am excited to be welcoming in another member to our family.

I am Noah Shinbaum and I am a groomsman, husband to Ellen, music lover and cat dad. I grew up in New Jersey and Arizona where I later met the groom freshman year at U of A, and we bonded over a shared love of soccer and music. Many great memories have been made, from concerts in Phoenix and Tucson, to countless game nights and shenanigans. I am thrilled to be a part of Logan and Emily's special day!

My name is Ainsley, I am from Milton, WA and I am a bridesmaid. I have known Emily my whole life since we are cousins! Some fun things about me are that I love baking, watching tik toks and am getting ready to start my undergraduate at Washington State University. My favorite memories with Logan and Emily are of us playing games with the family during the holidays when they visit!
Axel Straub

Born January 1st, 2021, Axel has been a wonderful addition to the bride and groom's life! Axel came home for the first time March 2nd, 2021 and has been given all of their love since. While Axel will not be in the wedding (though his parents wish he could be), he will be there in spirit and is a very important part of their life together... if not the most important! Axel enjoys going on walks, getting treats, playing with daddy, and cuddling mama. A fun fact about Axel is that he was partially named after a character in one of his dad's favorite video games and his brother (way down the line) will be too! Axel happily resides in his home with both parents in Oregon, USA.
