We met online and just a few short days later, Logan was brushing his teeth in the Taco Bell parking lot across from my dorm, on his way to pick me up for dinner! Logan picked me up and took me to Olive Garden, which is where we learned that we had mutual friends, including Logan's brother! Small world, right? Just 6 days later, on April 16th, 2018, we officially became a couple and have been inseparable since!

For my birthday, Logan took me on a weekend cruise to Ensenada, Mexico! I had a pretty good idea this was when we were going to get engaged, but Logan definitely through me some curveballs. I let Logan know that I wanted someone to capture pictures of the proposal once or twice.... okay maybe more like ten times? So when elegant night rolled around and I had booked a private photo session for us on the ship, I was CONVINCED that was the moment. Wrong. We then went to a few more photo booths, you know to give him a few more opportunities... wrong again. Little did I know I had ruined his original plan so he got nervous! His original plan was to propose at dinner when they came around to take pictures, but we got sat a community table which I was not a fan of. This made him think about proposing on our excursion the next day, but it was supposed to rain so that wasn't going to work either. On the walk back to our room, Logan was very nervous and I could tell something was up, but at this point I was sure he wasn't proposing yet. We got to our room and for about 5 minutes Logan was telling me how much he loved me, couldn't imagine his life without me, and kept hugging me. Finally I said "I love you, but my feet hurt so can I at least take my shoes off?" I sat down on the bed and Logan, being the gentleman that he is, helped me with my shoes. He then told me to take my necklace off, which just made me mad. I was really not helping his anxiety, oops! He got really nervous again, and by this time I was catching on, so I said "if you have something to ask me, you should just ask!" He was already down on one knee, when he took my promise ring off, and said "I think it's about time you got an upgrade. Will you marry me?" Of course I said "Yes!"

We are looking forward to celebrating with you at Mountain House Estate in Cloverdale, CA! We picked the date of 08.21.2021 because it is exactly 18 months to the day of when we got engaged! We plan to have a beautiful ceremony on the lawn, so ladies if you're wearing heels make sure you can walk on grass comfortably! Following the ceremony, we invite you to stick around for cocktail hour, a yummy BBQ dinner, and some fun games and dancing during the reception on the patio! See you there!
