Tues 4/3/17 AM Hiking "The Path of the Gods"
Price: Shuttle to the beginning should be less than $10/pp. Date: 4/3 7:30 -12:30 pm (Ending in Positano where we will have lunch.) Tues 4/3/17 we are planning to Hike the Path of the gods which runs along the cliffs of the Amalfi coast. The Path of the Gods, set in stunning natural beauty, is a must to see, at least for who wants to deeply dig into the marvels of the Amalfi Coast. From the Path of the Gods it is possible to admire one of the most striking panoramas on Earth. An incomparable overview of the coast from Punta Licosa, in the Cilento (part of the province of Salerno that lies on the south of the Amalfi Coast) to the Island of Capri,an ancient natural extension of Punta Campanella (watershed between the gulfs of Naples and Salerno) where the Athena loop trail, another wonderful hike, lays.

Tour Date: 4/4 Price: $85 - $107 (Determined by final # of people.) RSVP: By Jan 15th to Michelle @ 980-867-2242 Payment: By March 1st to Paypal @ Zachwelborn@gmail.com or send checks to Michelle Strain Shuttle to Herculaneum for 2 hr guided tour of Herculaneum, an ancient city that lays at the base of Mount Vesuvius. It was destroyed by the Vesuvius eruption of ad 79 and declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1997. Then we head to the Cantina del Vesuvio a winery located at the feet of Mount Vesuvius with panoramic views of the entire bay of Naples. All 4 wines will be accompanied by a lunch based on specialties of the Campania region. This tour is being organized through us personally. We have to order & pay for everything together including hiring a driver & a guide for Herculaneum and purchasing entry tickets at Herculaneum and lunch tickets at the winery. The total cost will depend on total number of participants. We will let everyone know the final cost Jan 16th.

Price: $65 - $85 (Determined by final # of people.) See the core of the coast from the sea within a half day: 4-5 hour tour, 10 villages of the Amalfi coast, a visit to the Emerald grotto, a visit to Positano. From Maiori/Minori/Amalfi passing by Atrani, Ravello, Conca dei Marini, there you land to visit the Emerald Grotto. Then you go to see the Furore Fiord, Praiano and Positano. There you stop and land for 1 or 2 hours to visit Positano (Lunch not included in price.)
Ferry - The quickest way to move around Amalfi Coast
Fares range from 3 - 12 euros per leg. Ferry from town to town across the Amalfi coast. The schedule wont be posted until we get closer but parts start April 1st but some routes dont begin until May 1st. Maiori – 2 km walk from the hotel. Departure pier (This is the town where the wedding ceromony is being held) Amalfi - Main connection point for all the towns. One of two towns with direct connection to Maiori Minori - One of the two towns with direct connection to Maiori Salerno - Farthest town from Hotel/Maiori Positano - Trying to plan boat tour that includes stop in Positano on Thursday before the rehearsal.
Visiting Capri Independently
Ferry routes from Positano & Amalfi run from t April to mid-October. During the winter season you must board the ferry from Sorrento. Full-Day Capri Island Cruise (Tour code: 60448P1)
$177.08/person Make your own way to the ferry port in Praiano or Positano in time for boarding, then set sail for Capri Island. Cruise along the picturesque Positano Coast and pass Li-Galli Island, where Ulysses was said to have encountered mermaids. On arrival at Capri island, enjoy a sightseeing cruise of island landmarks including the White Grotto, the Natural Arch, Villa Malaparte, and Faraglioni Rocks. Stop to cool off with a swimming at Marina Piccola, visit the Green Grotto, and enjoy an optional visit to the famous Blue Grotto (entrance fee not included, to be paid locally). Dock at Marina Grande, the main port of Capri, where you will have 3 to 4 hours of free time to take in the sights, enjoy lunch, or relax on the beach.
