What you need to know for the day of March 14th!

We just spent 637 days planning this perfect day, and we are so excited to celebrate with you! Address: 3022 N Twyman Road, Independence, MO 64058 Elevated Cocktail Attire | avoid red, dark shades, neon shades, white, light neutrals, and loud patterns. Information that is not listed here may be on the FAQ page. If you have questions that are not answered with the information across this website, text 662-631-4276.

The Arrival and Ceremony

Guest Arrival: 2:30pm CST Ceremony Start: 3:00pm CST Please plan to carpool or use a ride-share service such as Uber or Lyft. There is not enough parking for every family/pair to bring their own personal vehicles. Every car that arrives will have to be off of the property by the end of the night on March 14. The ceremony will take place outside, unless the event of extreme temperatures or dangerous winds occur as blizzards and lightning make for bad photos (just kidding! We wouldn’t ask or guest to sit through a storm). There is a covered outdoor location where the ceremony will take place in event of rain or snow. We encourage guests to pay attention to the forecast, please wear layers to be comfortable if that’s what the weather requires: leggings under dresses, long John’s under suits, coats, mittens, scarves. Upon arrival, we request that guests silence their cell phones and avoid using them during the ceremony. Photo, video, calls and texts are discouraged among our guests. We have hired a fantastic content team that will capture our timeless, once in a lifetime time photos and video. We look forward to sharing these high quality photos and video with you afterwards!

Cocktail Hour

Cocktail hour will follow immediately after the conclusion of the ceremony. There will be games, refreshments and a light snack during this time. The bar is an open bar with 2 cocktails, 4 can options and 2 wine options. There is also an array of non-alcoholic beverages such as soda, tea and water.

The Reception

The reception will open with grace and dinner, followed by dessert and our special dances with speeches sprinkled throughout the night. The dance floor will open near 6:15. About halfway through the night (about 7:45ish) the music taste will take a turn into a mature playlist that may not be kid-friendly. The night will end at 9:00 with tear down of the space directly following reception conclusion. If you are willing and able to help with tear down, no offer will be denied. We understand that the party may not be everyone’s cup of tea and understand that you may decide to make an early exit. If this is the case and the couple is on the dance floor, we approve that you make an Irish goodbye (a discreet exit). Feel free to send us a text message. If that doesn’t sound like your style of goodbye, we request a quick hug and brief farewell so that we can spend as much time on the dance floor as we can.
