Phoenix hosts numerous MLB teams for spring training- this link has a list of the teams and the stadiums they play at. We highly recommend taking advantage (just like we did on our one year anniversary)!
Museums!
MIM Museum- Musical Instrument Museum, showcasing instruments from all over the world. There is also an interactive room where you can play some of the instruments for yourself. Highly recommend! Taliesin West- Frank Lloyd Wright's winter camp Phoenix Art Museum- We love the contemporary art! Heard Museum- Features more than 3,600 pieces of American Indian Art Arizona Science Center- Fun for the whole family!

RESTAURANTS Parlor Pizza- Where Ryan & Sam went of their first date- GREAT pizza and an even better place to fall in love! Organ Stop Pizza- Pizza & Italian, plus live music from a massive Wurlitzer organ. Great for families! Postino- The Valley's original neighborhood WineCafe. We love the bruschetta boards! True Food- Relaxed, eco-chic chain serving health-conscious fare, including vegan options. Where Ryan & Sam had their last date before making it official! Northern Arizona
If you're wanting to explore outside of Phoenix, we recommend heading up north! Fair warning- there might be snow! Sedona, AZ- Check out the Red Rocks! Beautiful sights throughout, and uptown Sedona is dense with New Age shops, spas and art galleries. If it's not too cold, go on a hike! Flagstaff, AZ- A woodsy college town where Ryan & Sam both went to school (at different times). Check out Lowell Observatory, where Pluto was discovered! Also check out downtown Flagstaff and walk around north campus at NAU. Williams, AZ- Check out Bearizona, you won't regret it!
