FAQs

Question

Does the dress code really matter?

Answer

Yes! Look at it this way. Guidelines on what to wear make it much easier to decide what to actually wear, confident in the knowledge that you won't stick out like a sore thumb because you're in jeans when everyone else has a tie on. We are hoping you will have a wonderful day with us! Our only request is that you come dressed to the nines, ready to eat, drink, and be merry.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Respectfully, no. Our reception venue is a historic Victorian home filled with antiques. It would make a poor playground for a child. Take this opportunity to enjoy a night out, free from Bluey, pull-ups, and cheeto fingers. If you need assistance finding a babysitter, please let us know!

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

The church has a parking lot accessible from Constance Street, as well as street parking throughout the surrounding neighborhood. The reception venue has a parking lot accessible from St. Charles Avenue, in addition to street parking on St. Charles and side streets. The church is a 22-minute walk from the reception venue, through either a nice neighborhood or Audubon Park. It is a 5-minute drive. The reception venue is on the St. Charles streetcar line, but you would have to take the aforementioned ~20 minute walk to the church from the streetcar stop.

Question

Where are you going on your honeymoon?

Answer

Great question! We would love to know. We plan to honeymoon in summer or fall, but extenuating circumstances, including Stone's enrollment in grad school, have made it hard for us to plan this ahead of the wedding. Our dream is Italy, in case you're wondering. But we would settle for a shack on the edge of town, provided it came with snacks.
