The Proposal

It may have been 'glacier' slow (wink, wink) but the proposal finally happen! A month after settling into our new home in Anchorage, Keegan wanted to venture south to a little town called Seward to have a mini weekend away. Little did I know... We planned on completing the hike no matter the weather, which proved to be an adventure. When we arrived to the Kenai Fjords National Park, and began our trek out to view Exit Glacier, we discovered the trail had been washed out due to the rain! Luckily we were able to head to the outwash plains area - but that was also flooded! Keegan said, "let's go", and so we got a little wet but made it across the plains to the gorgeous view of the glacier. As soon as we got in front of it, Keegan posed me in front of the glacier, got down on one knee, opened a beautiful wooden box labeled "Stanley", and asked "Will you marry me?" I was so excited it took me a minute to answer, "YES!"
