FAQs

The Wedding Website of Samuel Parr and Margaret Stoesser
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with planning, please let us know as soon as you can if you’ll be joining us — we really hope you can! The RSVP deadline to ensure we can give all our vendors a final headcount is July 1, 2026.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’d love to, but due to limited space we can only welcome the guests who were formally invited. Thanks for understanding.

Question

Are my children welcome?

Answer

As much as we adore little ones, our wedding is adults-only, except for our immediate family who are part of the wedding party. Think of it as a kid-free mini vacation - with drinks!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

On Friday the 18th - think of it like an open house, come drop in anytime after 5pm, we would love for our guests to get to meet, mix and mingle before the big day. For the big day, Saturday the 19th - the ceremony will begin at 3:45pm, so please be at the Yacht Club seated by 3:30pm.

Question

But what will I wear?

Answer

We would love to see our closest friends and family all dressed up with us - so we request that guests be dressed in formal attire. Also, being the end of summer, we would love to see some summery colour!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you put phones and cameras away during the ceremony. We want you to be fully present with us — besides, we’ve hired a photographer who has it covered. After the ceremony? Go nuts, snap all the pics!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Duh. Drinks on us - hangover on you.

Question

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes partly, so manifest it with us - the sun will be shining! Ceremony outside on the yacht club lawn, followed by outdoor happy hour then reception indoors.

Question

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Absolutely. We’ve arranged shuttles to take guests back to major hotels at the end of the night — no lame DDs required.
