Our story began during the spring of 2020, when a simple swipe on Tinder led to exchanged numbers, endless conversations, and the start of something neither of us expected. It didn't take long to realize how much we had in common. We attended the same schools growing up, shared a love of Star Wars and Marvel, and quickly discovered that our favorite thing was simply finding new adventures together. Whether it was a park date, a picnic, a beach night, a theme park, or trying a new restaurant, we never seemed to run out of places to go or things to do. As our relationship grew, so did the life we were building together. We began attending church, spent more time with our families, and developed a shared vision for the future. In September 2022, Bree was Chrismated into the Greek Orthodox Church, an important milestone that reflected the deeper foundation we were creating together. In 2023, Steli rejoined the Fighting Game Community. What started as local tournaments soon turned into trips across North America, countless weekends on the road, and more airport visits than either of us expected. Along the way, Bree became a tournament organizer – proving that while Steli may have entered the brackets, she was the one keeping everything running on time. Through every event, every trip, and every new opportunity, we supported one another and created memories that neither of us would trade for anything. By then, Steli already knew what everyone else seemed to know too: Bree was the woman he wanted by his side for the rest of his life. In December 2024, we moved into our first apartment together with our canine companion, Charlie, who quickly embraced his role as head of household. Six months later, during a trip to Orlando, Steli proposed in front of the Millennium Falcon at Galaxy's Edge in Disney's Hollywood Studios — a quiet nod to the kind of love story we both grew up loving, where “I love you” and “I know” says everything that needs to be said. Not long after, we purchased our first home together. Now, we're excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people who have supported us, encouraged us, and shared in our journey along the way. On the seven year anniversary of the day we first swiped right, we can't wait to gather with our favorite people and start the greatest adventure yet.
