Is there anything extra important I need to know?
Answer
Yes! Our wedding is Memorial Day weekend, which is an especially busy time in Destin. If you're planning to fly, book early! We also suggest you book your lodging early.

Where will the wedding be held?
Answer
The wedding and reception will be on the SunQuest Cruise, which departs and returns to the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Boarding begins at 5:00 p.m. and the boat will leave the dock at 5:30. We'll return to the dock around 9:30 p.m. The ceremony will be on the open-air sky deck, weather permitting. The reception will be held on the two lower decks, which are both indoors. The Solaris travels in a channel and so the water is generally placid but we'll have a basket of seasickness bands available for any who are particularly sensitive to motion!

What time should I arrive and where should I park?
Answer
Parking can be tricky in the cruise area; we recommend using the tram if you are staying within the resort and a ride share if you are staying outside the resort. If you decide to drive, please plan to arrive extra early to make sure you find a spot! The cruise will leave at 5:30 and boarding will begin at 5:00. Directions to parking: 8330 Mike Hayes Dr. Miramar Beach, FL 32550 Once you pass the front gate of the resort, take your first right and continue to the roundabout. Take the second exit, turning left onto Baytowne Avenue. Look for the Baytowne Marina sign on the left. Turn left at the sign into the parking lot.

What are the accessibility features of the cruise?
Answer
SunQuest can bring guests from parking to the boat via a golf cart, and can accommodate a wheelchair on board. For wheelchair use, please call SunQuest at 850-650-2519 in advance for arrangements.

Unless specified on your invitation, we ask that you do not bring a guest. Thanks for understanding!
