Question

Wedding Location & Timeline

Answer

The wedding ceremony will take place at the Different Pointe of View Restaurant - located at the peak of the Hilton Pointe Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. All wedding festivities, including the ceremony and reception, will be held at this location. The ceremony will take place outside on the terrace patio at 5:00 PM on Friday March 3, 2023. A map with directions to the venue can be found in the Travel section of our website. Navigating to an unfamiliar location can be tricky and traffic in Phoenix can be unpredictable. Please leave plenty of time to arrive, park and be seated 30 min prior to the start of the ceremony. There will be a complimentary valet available in front of the restaurant, as well as additional self-parking areas. Cocktail Hour will begin immediately following the ceremony on the upper terrace. Hors d’oeuvres and drinks can be enjoyed before the reception begins at 7:00 PM inside the restaurant main dining room.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony begins at 5:00 PM. Hosted Cocktail Reception to immediately follow ceremony. Please arrive and be seated 30 min prior to the ceremony. It will be short so you don’t want to miss a thing!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We will have complimentary Valet parking available. Guests can also drive up to the venue where there is plenty of parking. Guest staying at the hotel can request shuttle service however expected wait time can be 15 minutes so plan ahead.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress for the wedding and reception is semi-formal: suit and tie for men, cocktail dress for ladies. The weather can be cool in the evening so a light jacket or sweater is recommended.

Question

Can I Take Pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we kindly ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent during the ceremony. Pictures + video will be taken by hired, professional photographers and videographers in order to capture this significant moment in our lives and we would hate to have a well-meaning persons phone/device blocking the moments they’re trying to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want during the dinner and reception. We will be using the hashtag #stickingwithstuckey to tag photos you take throughout the night to post to social media. We promise to share the ceremony photos + videos promptly after the wedding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we have decided to make this an adult only event.

Question

Can I Bring A Date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only with a strict guest list for ease of preparation. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. After receiving your invite or Save the Date, please visit our RSVP page. Those who have an "Optional Guest" listed can RSVP "yes" for themselves and their guest. Please remember to provide their full name for planning purposes. If you have any questions about your invitation guest status, please contact the couple.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

A room block is reserved for our out of town guests at the Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort, which will be the site of the wedding. We have additional discounted room blocks available at a Holiday Inn hotel nearby. Please check the Travel and Accommodations page for links and details to this resort and other options.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

If you are thinking of giving a gift, check out our registry right here on Zola. This is our only registry. If cash gifts are more your style, we will have a designated place for all cards at the wedding. Please do not feel obliged, as the greatest gift you could give is traveling to celebrate with us on our special day.

Question

What should I Do If I Cannot Attend?

Answer

If for some unfortunate reason you cannot attend the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible either by sending a text message or by going on the Zola website and declining. This will allow us to plan properly for the wedding attendance and meal planning.
