Max and Paige had their very first encounter during their 8th grade year of middle school. They met during an after school wrestling club, where they shared a conversation amongst friends and then just the two of them. While it was brief, it was a delightful memory to Max who very much enjoyed the interaction. Unfortunately, Paige's memory isn't as sharp and has no recollection of the event ever occurring whatsoever. So he looked crazy for a while. They wouldn't meet again until their senior year of high school, when they became singers in their high school's advanced choir group. Then one day, Max offers to drive Paige home from a choir event, and they hesitantly decide to stop for food at Panda Express. This decision would spark an undeniable connection between them, as they would then talk and listen to each other about anything and everything. Months later, Max was moving back to Arizona, and Paige came over to help clean and pack up his room. They were taking a break from cleaning when Max turned on a song that had become very special to them both and started to slow dance. Max not only asked Paige to be his girlfriend in such a manner, but would later ask her to become his wife to the same song and the same dance. Making them not only marriage partners but dance partners for the rest of their days.
