Nick Komjati
Officiant
Quite frankly, Nick is the perfect person to officiate Crystal and Drapcho’s wedding. He’s been one of Drap’s closest friends going back to their sophomore year of college. The two talk just about every single day, and during one of their daily conversations, Drapcho mentioned that he planned on proposing to Crystal soon. Without hesitation, Nick volunteered to make the trip up to photograph the couple’s big moment. Being the incredible friend that he is, Nick followed through, spending six hours in the car that day and more importantly, taking some fantastic photos of the proposal. It’s only fitting that he play a major role in the wedding too.
Brendan Carlin
Best Man
Teammates on their high school basketball team, Brenden and Drapcho were fast friends. The two were basically inseparable back in high school, and frankly, that hasn’t really changed in the years since. No matter what these two are doing they always end up laughing hysterically. Whether they’re watching basketball or having a Lord of the Rings marathon together, they somehow manage to always find the joke…even if no one else can figure out why they’re laughing.
Hallie Wiese
Matron of Honor
Crystal and Hallie go way back to Amboy Preschool and grew up down the street from each other. Some of Crystal’s favorite memories are days spent at the Wiese farm with the goats and chickens, their trip to Mackinaw to go skiing only for there to not be any snow, and being a bridesmaid in Hallie’s wedding last September. Crystal is so excited that Hallie and her have been able to go through this stage of life together (and go to double the estate sales and thrift stores for dishes!)
Anthony Rikard
Best Man
Anthony and Drapcho have been close friends since high school when the two of them realized that they basically have the exact same taste in music. Both fans of punk music, Anthony and Drapcho love going to shows together. The two have traveled as far as Philadelphia to see a show and have seen many of their favorite bands together like blink-182, The Lawrence Arms, Rancid, The Wonder Years, and The Bouncing Souls. After all these years and shows, there’s no doubt that there’s no one Drapcho would rather hit a circle pit with.
Lauren Lebzelter
Maid of Honor
Lauren and Crystal met through Ashtabula County’s Youth Leadership program Junior year of high school. Although their friendship really blossomed when they attended Cleveland State University together and shared an apartment at the Langston for 3 years. Crystal and Lauren have done lots of traveling together from service trips in New Orleans, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Savannah, and San Francisco to Weekend trips to Charleston. Some of Crystal’s fondest college memories are with Lauren by her side and she’s so excited to have her by her side on her big day!
Cory Stewart
Groomsman
Michael first met Crystal’s brother Cory several months into his relationship with Crystal when Cory was home on leave from the Coast Guard. They’ve made lots of fun memories at the Stewart Lake House. In fact, that’s where Michael asked Cory to be one of his groomsmen. It’s sometimes difficult to see Cory because of his Coast Guard duties, but that hasn’t stopped him from being an important part of Michael and Crystal’s relationship. When the couple got engaged, they managed to talk to Cory even though he was on a ship somewhere near the North Pole. Thankfully, he won’t be at sea in May, so he’ll be able to see Michael and Crystal get married.
Hannah Farr
Bridesmaid
Growing up, Crystal and Hannah, along with cousins Cory, Collin, and Heather were always having fun together. Whether it was sleepovers at Grandma Carol’s, evenings at the Kingsville Little League, hours spent in the woods behind the Farr household, or trips to Splash Lagoon, great memories were always being made. Crystal especially enjoyed the yearly trips to Kentucky to watch Hannah dance at Nationals. Crystal is so lucky to have cousins that are more like sisters and can’t wait to celebrate with them on Wedding Day!
Billy Vaccariello

The best way to describe Billy’s and Drapcho’s friendship is to tell a story from their senior year of high school. Billy and Drap were driving around one Saturday night after a week of particularly heavy snow. In a cruel twist of fate, one of Billy’s contact lenses fell out while he was at the wheel. With his vision obscured, Billy began to turn. The only issue was that they were a good 50 feet from their destination’s driveway. Before Drapcho could say anything to stop Billy, the two found themselves in a roadside ditch. After confirming they were both okay, they began to laugh harder than they ever had in their lives. Regardless of how tough the situation has been through the years, Billy and Drapcho have always been there for each other and somehow managed to get a laugh from it.
Heather Farr
Bridesmaid
Growing up Crystal promised Heather that someday she would be a bridesmaid in her wedding and Heather did not forget it. Well here we are! Crystal is still in denial that the baby of the cousins is in college now and swears she was just babysitting her over the summer like 2 years ago. Hanging out with Heather was always an adventure and Crystal remembers Heather jumping on her dad’s four wheeler when she was 3 starting it and riding it across the yard with all the adults chasing after her. Crystal is overjoyed to have her “mini me” next to her on the big day!
Carter Eckl
Groomsman
Carter and Drap started hanging out towards the end of their freshman year at OU and then ended up spending nearly every second of the next three years together. They lived together for two years, but it’s really closer to three if you count all the times that Drap crashed on Carter’s futon on the weekends after parties sophomore year. A testament to their bond, these two have never lost a Mario Kart Double Dash race when on the same team. Dream Team forever.
Katy Quinn
Bridesmaid
Crystal and Katy met on the Cardiac Stepdown Unit at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. They became fast friends and grew even closer thanks to Katy hosting a yard sale fundraiser for work where Crystal spent most of the week meeting Katy’s extensive list of friends and family all while sorting through a whole lotta junk. Katy always knows how to break Crystal out of her shell and pump her up and Crystal knows she’ll be her biggest cheerleader and hype girl on May 28th.
Kaleb Carter
Groomsman
Kaleb was actually Drapcho’s first close friend at OU. In what seems to be a recurring theme in Drap’s life, he initially became friends with Kaleb because of music. The two quickly realized that they both loved recommending new songs and artists to people. Kaleb and Drap also realized that they had the same strange sense of humor. Seriously, it was weird sometimes. At one point in college, Paul Blart memes were the funniest things in the world to these two, and let’s be real: the kind of friend that also inexplicably laughs uncontrollably at Kevin James’ screaming face is exactly the kind of friend you want at your side on your big day.
Caitlin Gordon
Bridesmaid
Like Katy, Crystal and Caitlin met on the Cardiac Stepdown Unit. They’ve bonded over their love of their Heart Babies and have enjoyed time wedding planning and spending time with the Heart Center crew. Caitlin is always down for a good time and Crystal knows she’ll bring the party come May!
Brad Friedman
Groomsman
Drap and Brad met while covering the same local high school sports team for a student journalism organization. Thanks to that organization, Brad and Drap ended up spending a ton of time together and becoming close friends. Many of Drapcho’s favorite memories took place their junior year while living together in 2A like staying up way too late playing MLB Slugfest 2003.
Udit Sinha
Groomsman
Drapcho and Udit honestly did not really know each other all that well before they became roommates their junior year of college, but they quickly became close friends while living together at 2A Milliron Street in Athens. Fast forward to today, Drap and Udit both have 2A tattoos, and they love putting the pressure on the other roommates by asking them when they’ll get 2A tats of their own. Even if they never successfully convince the other 2A Bois to get tattoos, Drap is so glad that he and Udit have become such close friends.
Levi, Atalie, & Matthew Rhoads
Junior Groomsman, Junior Bridesmaid, and Ring Bearer
Crystal has been the Rhoads family babysitter since 2017. She loves spending time with Levi, Atalie, and Matthew and planning all kinds of fun activities and trips for them. They’ve spent time at Deer Park, the Cleveland Zoo and Rainforest, Geneva on the Lake, the Ashtabula County Fair, and more and have done more art projects than Crystal can count. During the last 4+ years, the kids have become family to Crystal so it’s only fitting they’re part of the big day!

Crystal and Michael always enjoy when Crystal’s cousins Charlotte and Abi come visit and get to hang out with the whole Dawson crew! They’re so excited to have them be part of their big day!
