This is our venue for Saturday night Havdalah but the exhibits and gift shop won't be open during the event. It's interesting if you're into museums!
Walk the campus of Oregon State University
Overwhelmed with socializing? Enjoy a movie at this independent theater. Say hi to Joey if he's working the concession stand!
Enjoy one of the best view of Corvallis at the top of this hiking trail.
Go for a hike or run in the beautiful Mac Dunn forest. There are over 140 miles of trails and forest roads. Some of our favorites are: 1.) Old growth trail 2.) Vineyard Mountain trail 3.) Dimple Hill
Cute little breakfast spot! We like their pop tarts ;)
Our favorite restaurant - farm to table, sharing plates, fantastic cocktails.
The townie dive bar. Grab a beer or burger at Squirrels, or their famous meatloaf special. The salad is sourced from local farms.
You don't have to be a member to shop! Our own locally owned grocery store
Enjoy some of the best beer Corvallis has to offer. Try Sticky Hands for a West Coast IPA - but one or two will do ya.
A cute little cocktail bar with a cozy atmosphere. Their pizza is surprisingly good, but if you're really hungry we recommend Sada Sushi (downstairs) for sushi or TacoVore for a true college-town experience (fancy, expensive tacos).
A beautifully serene spot to sip a glass of wine - bring a picnic! We think of their Pinots are amazing (our AVA is well known for Pinots) but our favorite is the Five Block Pinot. There are a few other wineries in the area, make it a day trip!
Explore Newport! Ask us for specific recommendations, but a walk along the beach and the historic bayfront is a day! We recommend lunch at the Fisherman's Market for an authentic experience or at any of the Rouge Brewery places. You could also visit the very cute town of Yachats just up the road (our favorite coastal city) and get the best fish and chips this side of the Cascades at Luna Sea and fantastic pastries at Bread and Roses!
Of course, there's always Portland. There's so much to do - ask us for recommendations! We use the Eater Portland site to find new restaurants: https://pdx.eater.com/
