We met online - according to Aliza, she "swiped right" on a picture of Stewart planting broccoli. What's cuter than that!? Stewart may have swiped right on Aliza because of her dog (just kidding)

After a three-day long first date, Aliza returned to Portland to finish her masters program and didn't come back to Corvallis for more than a month, but we kept in touch!

Finally, Aliza moved to Corvallis and our adventures of food, flowers, and fun began!

Important animals in our lives grew with us. Balagan (Bali) our dog, and Lola, our goat. This is Lola at about 4 weeks old!

less than a year after we met, COVID hit. And it was just Aliza, Stewart, and Bali... and Aliza's dad and brother in the home! We shared space and started some big projects.

We tried cross-country skiing...

...started a garden....

...built a chicken coop and got some chickens....

...bottle fed some tiny baby lambs...

...and took lots of breaks for bike rides and hikes!

Somewhere during the years of adventures and remodeling and fun...

and lots of blackberry removal and hard work...

...we decided to keep doing this life we have together!

Oh right. And with Bali. She's here too

Plus, we are expanding the farm (Lola with her baby here!)...

... and our family! Baby Simmons expected May 2025!
