Please RSVP by August 10th, 2018. You can either mail in the RSVP postcard from your formal invitation, or RSVP online by going to the "RSVP" page.
We have not made plans for including children under the age of 12. If this poses a conflict for your family, please feel free to contact us.
Semiformal garden attire is recommended. We hope to be outside for most of the day, and it will probably still be quite warm in early September. The wedding ceremony will be on grass, so consider this when choosing your footwear.
Weather permitting, the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and the dancing will all be outdoors! Dinner will be served indoors.
Please see the "Travel" section of our website for a list of recommended accommodations. We have reserved two hotel blocks at discounted rates.
If you are heading North on the Merritt, take exit 37. Turn left onto CT-124 North. Make another left at the entrance of Waveny Park. Waveny House will be visible once you reach the top of the hill / driveway. There will be signs directing you where to park.
Yes! Well, almost. You can take the Metro-North train to New Canaan. Travel time from Grand Central is about 75 minutes. From the New Canaan train station, use your favorite ride-sharing app to get to Waveny. It's only 2.3 miles away, or about a 7 minute drive!
I always take tourists to see the WTC memorial pools, to ride the Staten Island Ferry (a free ferry that goes right by the Statue of Liberty) and on a walk up 5th ave to Central Park. If you want to view NYC from above, I would recommend the Top of the Rock (https://www.topoftherocknyc.com/) because it is usually less crowded and more affordable than the Empire State Building and has an amazing view. You can buy timed-entry tickets online. You will also need timed-entry tickets if you choose to do the WTC Memorial Museum (separate from the pools, which are free to view.) My favorite art museum is the MOMA (Free on Fridays from 4-8!) Of course there is so much to see in NYC, so please don't hesitate to reach out to us for more info! Here is a great guide to using the subway: https://freetoursbyfoot.com/navigating-new-york-subway/ If you're driving, there is an app called Park Whiz for garage parking reservations. Google Maps also is very reliable for navigating public transit!
