How do I RSVP?

Answer

You are able to RSVP directly from this website! Click on the RSVP tab and type in your name to go through the RSVP questions. Please email Steven and Nicole at nicolestevenwedding2026@gmail.com if you have any problems or further questions.

Where should I stay to attend the wedding?

Answer

We have a hotel block reserved at the Avon Old Farms Hotel and recommend staying here! You can find more information about how to join our room block on the Travel page. Other local hotels and Airbnbs are also good options.

Are there any additional events during the weekend?

Answer

Yes! We will be having casual drinks and desserts on Friday evening (see the Events page). If you are staying in our block at Avon Old Farms Hotel, free hot breakfast is served from 7-11 am (on Saturday) and 7-9 am (on Sunday) and coffee and bagels are available all morning. Many folks will likely gather on Sunday morning for a final meal before departing, but this is not a formal event.

What is the recommended wedding attire?

Answer

We recommend that guests wear semi-formal to formal attire. Bridesmaids will be wearing light pink if you want to avoid matching. The weather in New England can be unpredictable in March but it's typically cold - the venue has a spacious coatroom.

Is the wedding outdoors or indoors?

Answer

Our wedding will be inside the greenhouse.

Do I need to rent a car if I'm traveling?

Answer

Not necessarily! Hartford's airport and train station are both short Uber trips to the hotel where all non-wedding events will take place. We will provide buses to transport guests between the hotel and the venue on the wedding day. If you do plan on taking a vehicle, the venue and hotel have plenty of free parking.

Where can I get a meal near the hotel?

Answer

Seasons Restaurant and Tap Room is a full-service restaurant right inside the Avon Old Farms Hotel! Another good option is across the street at The North House, and there are a variety of restaurants and cafes just down the road in Avon.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! If your child is not included in the RSVP options and you'd like them to attend, please let us know.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar along with a plated dinner, desserts, and passed hors d'oeuvres.
