The bridal party will be dressed in black tie, so whether you opt for a tuxedo, a floor length gown, or a stylish formal dress or suit, you’ll fit right in. We can’t wait to see you looking your best! Be sure to pack a coat for the short walk to the Basilica for the ceremony.
Formal attire ranges from gowns and tuxes to below-the-knee dresses and suits. It is a step up from cocktail attire. As an additional note, the ceremony will be in a Catholic church, so please dress appropriately.
As of now, we can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation for our intimate gathering. If you receive a plus one, it will appear on your invite. We will reach out closer to the wedding if space becomes available for a plus one.
Although we adore and love your little ones, we kindly request an adults only affair.
Yes! We have a room block at the Morris Inn, which is a hotel on campus. It is a 5 minute walk to the Basilica where the ceremony will be taking place. The Morris Inn has its own parking lot (and valet) for guests that are utilizing our discounted room block. If you decide to stay off campus, parking at the Hammes Bookstore lot (address: 1 N Notre Dame Ave) is another option and is a 5 minute walk from the Morris Inn.
We will be having a screen free ceremony. Our wonderful photographer will be able to capture the most beautiful moments from inside the Basilica, but please take all the photos and videos your heart desires throughout the rest of the events - we can’t wait to see the day from your point of view!
